Why?

Every year we have promos where people panic for no real reason before. This is usually when the promo cards from the promo before work best as out of pack investment. Example from last year:

  • people were scared to buy Ratings reload team 2 cards (the promo before scream)
  • nobody bought before, everyone waited to buy after scream promo started
  • we bought Dumfries on Thursday  for ~64k
  • a week later he was 78k
You can watch this pattern on all meta Rating Reload cards from that week. This is a very consistent tredn that is worth posting about. The main risk of course is that the panic is reasonable for once, there is surprisingly high store supply or Scream cards just have very high packs odds and are very cheap. Based on the past and based on similar promos, it doesn't seem very very likely but it is a possible risk for sure. In theory every promo can crash the market if supply is high enough.
