The great 'Greats of the game crash'
The new promo caused a market crash. Greats Of The Game cards dropped to extremely cheap levels.
Triggering a market wide crash we normally don't see until FUTTIES.
Once the whole market fell, there wasn’t much anyone could do.
Why?
When the entire market dipped, holding rebound potential cards (like PTG) still made sense.
Even if everything fell 50%, a PTG recovering to ~75% of your buy price meant you lost coins overall but still gained value compared to the rest of the market stuck at 50%.
Hype‑driven holds (e.g., Konsa if you believed England would keep winning) still had logic behind them.
