EA FC 24 – FUT Centurions Review

The highly anticipated Centurions promo is officially out for EA FC 24! An amazing set of cards to get through, let’s breakdown their in-game stats and analyze this one-of-a-kind lineup!

FUT Centurions Review

(SBC) Martin Odegaard – 90:

Cost: ~319k

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 5*/3*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Incisive Pass (+), Pinged Pass, Whipped Pass, Technical, Flair, First Touch, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

Top-tier CAM with numerous playstyles. Offensive stats are amazing as well with perfect Shooting, Passing, and Dribbling all in the right areas. If you’re building a Premier League team and have fodder, he’s definitely worth completing.

Rating: 10/10

Alexandra Popp – 90:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/5*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Finesse Shot (+), Power Header, Bruiser, Trivela, Acrobatic, Aerial

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

If you don’t mind 3* SM, and if you can somehow fit her in, she’s definitely a bargain. Shooting is immaculate alongside Finesse Shot+ and Trivela, making her a threat to deal with. Stamina and strength are up there, however pace and agility are a bit low, so she may be a bit clunky. Regardless, it’s for sure a card worth trying!

Rating: 8/10

Pedri – 89:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/4*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Tiki Taka (+), Incisive Pass, Long Ball Pass, Technical, First Touch, Relentless

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

Tiki Taka+ is one of the best Playstyle+ in the game, and Pedri having that alongside immaculate stats for a midfielder, he’s going to be crazy on the pitch. Although shooting and defending are a bit average, adding a shadow chem style and playing him as a pass-first player is the way to go with this card.

Rating: 10/10

Grace Geyoro – 89:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/3*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Relentless (+), Pinged Pass, Long Ball Pass, First Touch

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

Another amazing box-to-box midfielder. Passing and dribbling are perfect in the right areas, Relentless+ and 98 stamina are a deadly combo for her, and with the top-tier defending makes her one of the best midfielders in the game.

Rating: 10/10

Marcus Rashford – 88:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 5*/3*

Work Rate: High/Low

Playstyles: Power Shot (+), Technical, Flair, Quick Step

Preferred Chem Style: Maestro

Rashford’s gold card is already broken, and the upgraded stats on this version are just adding fuel to the fire. Perfect pace, shooting, and dribbling, however stamina is a bit low and long passing is lackluster. Adding a maestro chem style to this card will help with the long passing and just overall solidify Rashford as a beast.

Rating: 10/10

(OBJ) Danilo Pereira – 86:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/3*

Work Rate: Medium/High

Playstyles: Power Header, Pinged Pass, Intercept, Aerial

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

This card is a very good objective, and FREE! Great nation and even better club for the links! Although pace and agility/balance are a bit low, simply adding a shadow chem style to Pereira and playing him as a pure CDM is going to be insane!

Rating: 10/10

Fikayo Tomori – 86:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 2*/4*

Work Rate: Medium/High

Playstyles: Jockey, Block, Slide Tackle

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

What a card, and possibly one of the best CB’s in the game. Insane pace for a CB as well as great defending and physical. Short and long passing is horrendous, but other than that, this Tomori is just cracked.

Rating: 10/10

Robert Andrich – 85:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/4*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Power Shot, Anticipate, Bruiser, Relentless, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

Another decent midfielder, and if you’re looking to have a bit of fun with a Bundesliga team, he’s a great option to pick up. Again, agility and balance are low with this card, and pace is a bit average, but if you’re playing him purely at the CDM position, all that matters is the defensive and physical capabilities this card possesses.

Rating: 7/10

Ferland Mendy – 85

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/5*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Rapid, Flair, Block

Preferred Chem Style: Sentinel

EA may have dropped a late-game card pretty early on in the cycle with this Mendy. His stats are perfect for a fullback, insane pace, dribbling, defending, and physical alongside 82 long passing and 85 short passing, and with the playstyles he has, it’ll just make him an even bigger threat on the pitch.

Rating: 10/10

Muniain – 84:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/3*

Work Rate: Medium/Medium

Playstyles: Finesse Shot, Incisive Pass, Technical, First Touch, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

Pretty average card. Passing and dribbling are amazing, but other than that, this card is just ‘meh’. However, he could be of use later on in the game cycle with these Evolution options popping up, so be on the look out for him in the coming months.

Rating: 6/10

Moses Simon – 83:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/4*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Rapid, Flair, Quick Step

Preferred Chem Style: Deadeye

I personally love this card. Shooting and passing are average, but with a deadeye chem style on him, this card instantly becomes an amazing winger, with a boost on every necessary stat.

Rating: 9/10

FUT Centurions Icon Review

Ruud Gullit – 91:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/5*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Power Header (+), Chip Shot, Power Shot, Rapid, Aerial

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

Not much to say about Gullit except that he’s going to be virtually unpackable. If you somehow are able to get him, whether it’s through coins or actually packing him, you have completed EA FC 24.

Rating: 10/10

Jairzinho – 90:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 5*/4*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Rapid (+), Power Shot, Flair, Quick Step, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

If you played with Jairzinho last year, you know how perfect of a winger he was. This year, I don’t expect anything different. His stats for a winger in combination Rapid+ is a deadly, deadly combo.

Rating: 10/10

Kelly Smith – 90:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/4*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Dead Ball (+), Finesse Shot, Power Header, First Touch, Aerial

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

First time ever seeing her as an icon, and her stats are just crazy to me. That combined with her height (5’6) makes her smooth and silky in-game, and just a major threat in terms of passing and shooting. Great icon card, whether it’s at the ST position or CAM.

Rating: 10/10

Ronald Koeman – 89:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/3*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Dead Ball (+), Power Shot, Long Ball Pass, Slide Tackle, Bruiser

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

If only he could play as a CM, this card would’ve been outstanding. If played as a CB, I feel like he wouldn’t be used to his fullest potential, just with how well-rounded of a card this is. If you’re able to switch him in-game as a CM, perfect. Overall, I love this card. He’s got everything you want for a defender/midfielder.

Rating: 9/10

Wayne Rooney – 89:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/4*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Power Shot (+), Finesse Shot, Chip Shot, Long Ball Pass, Relentless, Trivela, Acrobatic

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

Another case where I don’t have to say much about this card. Perfect stats for a pure ST. If you want someone to constantly bang goals no matter where on the pitch, he’s the man for you.

Rating: 10/10

Gennaro Gattuso – 87:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 2*/3*

Work Rate: Medium/High

Playstyles: Relentless (+), Intercept, Bruiser

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

I’m not really a fan. If you don’t mind the 2* weak foot, he looks to be a top-tier CDM with perfect defending and physical, but if he gets into sticky situations, he won’t be able to do much other than just passing the ball back.
