UEFA Road To The Knockout is a live promo within EA FC 25, this means that the cards will be upgraded dependant on how far their team progresses into the tournament.
For the all promo cards, no matter what competition they are participating in, there are three upgrade opportunities shown below:
• Win 2 (in UWCL & UECL) or 3 (in UCL or UEL) Games in the group stage
• Club scores in 4 different games
• Finish in the top 2 of their group

FAQ's
My card's team has just won and is eligible for an upgrade, when will they receive their upgrade in game?
All upgrades will go live in-game starting on the Friday after they are eligible. This means that the Road To The Knockout players will be upgraded at the end of a week following a milestone.
What if the player is injured and/or does not play in the game, will they still receive the upgrade?
Road to the Knockout upgrades are only based on team performance, so a player doesn’t have to feature in the game (or any games) to be eligible.
Does my player have to score for the "Score in 4" to be achieved?
No, this is a team based objective.
