FIFA 23 Predicted Real Madrid

Player Ratings!

Real Madrid had a wonderful season last year winning the treble, The Spanish Cup, LaLiga and the Champions League, due to this, the chances of downgrades for their main players will be few and far between! Let's have a look at each player and see what rating Levelled Up predicts!

Thibaut Courtois 90 Rated (+1)

Courtois played 52 matches last season keeping 22 clean sheets including the Champions League final. Due to this, we think he deserves an upgrade.

Casemiro 88 Rated (-1)

Casemiro was a massive part of Madrid's team last season playing 48 games,  now 30 and will probably will start to see his rating decline over the coming years.

Mariano 77 Rated (+2)

Mariano only played 11 matches during the 21/22 season, he will probably see a small rise due to the teams success and his relatively low rating.

Rodrygo 81 Rated (+2)

Played 49 games and a part in the run to the Champions League final (A solitary minute in the final though!) He only missed 5 games from the whole domestic season though so a +2 is fair.

Vinicius Junior 85 Rated (+5)

If Vinicius doesn't get at LEAST a +5 then something is wrong, one of the standout performers in a fantastic season.

He also scored the only goals in the Champions League final to bring it home.

Marco Asensio 84 Rated (+1)

Marco Asensio bagged 12 goals and 2 assists including an assist for Rodrygo's goal that took the Champions League semi-final to extra time.

Fully deserves a small upgrade.

Karim Benzema 91 Rated (+2)

If Benzema wasn't seen as one of the top strikers in world football prior to 2022, he is now!

44 goals in 46 games with 15 assists is an amazing finish.

Eden Hazard 82 Rated (-3)

Hazard's fall from grace has been hard and fast, this should be expected to carry on and an 82 Rating would be fair considering he scored 2 goals and 1 assist in 23 games

Eduardo Camavinga 80 Rated (+2)

Camavinga's maiden season for Los Blancos was pretty uneventful, however a +2 to 80 isn't too far of a stretch to see due to his massive potential.

Dani Ceballos 75 Rated (-2)

Player less than 330 minutes, scored one goal and assisted one, therefore a downgrade should be expected.

Aurélien Tchouameni 82 Rated (+3)

A new signing for Los Blancos with a lot of potential, a strong season  with Monaco last year should see him get a least a small boost.

Federico Valverde 85 Rated (+2)

Valverde is really starting to shine for Real Madrid, a +2 wouldn't be out of the question. Played a full 120 in the Champions League semi-final and 86 in the final.

Luka Modric 88 Rated (+1)

Even at 36 Modric is still one of the best midfielders in world football, he is a real life Peter Pan, Integral to Real Madrid and although this is one we were torn on...
EA may not give him an upgrade, he deserves one.

Toni Kroos 87 Rated (-1)

Toni Kroos has been an amazing servant for Real Madrid ratching up 45 games last season despite missing the first 8 games. Our view is that he deserves to be lower rated than Modric.

Ferland Mendy 85 Rated (+2)

The most meta left back in the game is no doubt getting a boost after a fantastic season. A +2 is the minimum I'd expect, we could even see a +3!
Casual FIFA players will be crying as we speak!

Nacho 79 Rated (No Change)

In a team of superstars, Nacho is almost invisible. He played in the five games leading up to the Champion League final and returned 3 goals in LaLiga, therefore we don't think he deserves a downgrade.

David Alaba 84 Rate(No Change)

David Alaba had another fine season, he probably doesn't deserve an upgrade but we also don't think he deserves a downgrade so he's staying at 84.

Antonio Rudiger 86 Rated (+3)

Rudiger was one of the only Chelsea players who played well all season. A Ones To Watch and an upgrade is almost a certainty, he probably deserves higher but normally EA don't give massive rises so it's a +3 for Rudiger

Eder Militao 84 Rated (+2)

Another player who who definitely deserves an upgrade, he is going to be scarily good in game. Him and Mendy were so META last year and they've now been turbo charged!

Dani Carvajal 85 Rated (No Change)

Like Nacho, Carvajal is player who flies under the radar to most casual fans. He did have a few injuries last season but consistently performed when called upon, due to that, he stays the same rating for FIFA 23 in our opinion.

In a season of such success, we predict that thirteen players will earn an upgrade with a massively deserved +5 for Vinicius Junior, three with no change and four downgrades, with Hazard being the largest downgrade (-3)
