Traiblazers Team 1 Review in EA FC 24

Trailblazers Team 1 has come out this week in EA FC 24 and it looks sensational! Today, we’ll take a look at each of these amazing cards and analyze them based on cost and usability.

Trailblazers Review

Kylian Mbappe – 92:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 5*/4*

Work Rate: High/Low

Playstyles: Power Shot (+), Rapid, Flair, Quick Step, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Marksman

This is legitimately an endgame card, and it’s just the second week of promos! We all know how Mbappe plays, so I won’t go on about his stats, but if you pack him, there’s your striker spot till the end of EA FC 24.

Rating: 10/10

Mohamed Salah – 91:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/3*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Technical (+), Finesse Shot, Chip Shot, Tiki Taka, Rapid, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Hawk

Oh my gosh, what a card. They replaced his Playstyle Plus from Finesse Shot to Technical, which I think fits Salah well, allowing him to glide through the pitch. In addition to the other playstyles he’s received/had, the combination of those makes this card insane.

Rating: 10/10

Carolina Hansen – 91:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 5*/4*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Finesse Shot (+), Technical, Flair, First Touch, Trickster, Quick Step, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

Hansen is considered a fan favorite among pro players, so not much needs to be said about her stats, and with those upgraded stats in addition to the Finesse Shot Playstyle Plus she received is going to be a huge game-changer.

Rating: 10/10

Ruben Dias – 90:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 2*/4*

Work Rate: Medium/High

Playstyles: Anticipate (+), Power Header, Block, Bruiser, Aerial

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

I honestly think this card is going to be a massive beast in-game, regardless of pace. The reason behind it is the Anticipate Playstyle Plus, which increases the success rate of a standing tackle. With that in conjunction with his other playstyles and amazing Defense and Physical, who’s going to get past this card?

Rating: 8/10

Antoine Griezmann – 88:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/3*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Trivela (+), Finesse Shot, Chip Shot, Incisive Pass, Technical, Flair, First Touch

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

What made Griezmann’s gold card a beast was his Finesse Shot Playstyle Plus. With that being replaced with Trivela doesn’t make a difference; he’ll still be amazing on the pitch. I mean, just look at those Playstyles and stats! Sure, pace is low, but pace isn’t as important as it was compared to past FIFAs. If you manage to get a hold of this card, you definitely won’t regret having him on your squad.

Rating: 10/10

Jude Bellingham – 88:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/4*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Technical (+), Finesse Shot, Incisive Pass, Flair, Intercept, Relentless

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

Introducing one of the top 5 midfielders of EA FC 24, Jude Bellingham! Seriously, this card is ridiculous. A box-to-box midfielder with all the necessary playstyles, especially Technical Playstyle Plus, is going to make this man a nuisance on the pitch.

Rating: 10/10

(SBC) Rodrygo – 87:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/4*

Work Rate: Medium/Medium

Playstyles: First Touch (+), Dead Ball, Technical, Flair, Quick Step

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

At the time of writing this article, his estimated SBC price is ~378k. Do I think he’s a must? Absolutely yes, 1000%. The value is well-priced, amazing even. With the First Touch Playstyle Plus he received, as a winger, he’s going to be sensational.

Rating: 10/10

(OBJ) Callum Wilson – 86:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/3*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Finesse Shot, Power Header, First Touch

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

We’ve been receiving some insane objective cards these past weeks, and so far, every single one has been worth it. This card is no exception. As I always say, if he doesn’t fit in your squad or you just don’t think he’s a good card, COMPLETE HIM FOR FODDER!

Rating: 8/10

Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 86:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/5*

Work Rate: Medium/Medium

Playstyles: Incisive Pass (+), Finesse Shot, Flair, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

What a CAM! 4*/5* is the preferred SM/WF for a CAM, and with his stats in addition to the Incisive Pass Playstyle Plus, his passes are going to feel smooth and precise.

Rating: 9/10

Giovanni Di Lorenzo – 86:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/3*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Pinged Pass, Rapid, First Touch, Relentless

Preferred Chem Style: Anchor

An amazing Serie A RB that I personally think is going to be better than Theo. Perfect stats for a fullback, and slapping an anchor on this card just puts the cherry on top.

Rating: 10/10

Jules Koundé – 86:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/3*

Work Rate: High/High

Playstyles: Slide Tackle (+), Jockey, Bruiser, Quick Step, Relentless

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

Yet another insane card. Kounde’s another meta CB in LaLiga and unlike Dias, he has the pace to keep up with attackers. I don’t think Slide Tackle Playstyle Plus is a good playstyle for a defender, especially when it comes to the final third, but all the other playstyles he has definitely makes up for it. Top-tier CB.

Rating: 10/10

Kerolin Nicoli – 85:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 4*/4*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Finesse Shot, Technical, Flair, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

It’s a pretty good card – 96 Stamina and has great playstyles for a winger; however, the lack of links is a downside. If you’re building a NWSL team, then by all means, this card is a must-have, but other than that, she’s just solid for the bench.

Rating: 7/10

Luciano Acosta – 84:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 5*/3*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Incisive Pass, Technical, Flair, First Touch, Relentless, Trivela

Preferred Chem Style: Deadeye

I expect he’ll be pretty cheap, but 5* SM and with a deadeye chem style boosting his Shooting and Passing, that’s a very, very solid MLS CAM. Not only that, but he links to Messi (if you have him).

Rating: 8/10

Serhou Guirassy – 84:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/3*

Work Rate: High/Low

Playstyles: Chip Shot, Flair, First Touch

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

Very underwhelming Bundesliga card. Shooting is top-tier, Pace and Dribbling is alright despite having 75 Agility and 74 Balance, but it’s just not worth using. There are way better gold cards in the Bundesliga than Guirassy, so it’s not worth wasting coins for him.

Rating: 6/10

Yangel Herrera – 84:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/3*

Work Rate: Medium/Medium

Playstyles: Power Shot, Incisive Pass, Flair

Preferred Chem Style: Hunter

This is a very well-rounded card. Pace is not good, but he’s great everywhere else. Add a Hunter to this card and you got yourself a decent box-to-box LaLiga midfielder.

Rating: 8/10

Kai Wagner – 84:

Skill Moves/Weak Foot: 3*/3*

Work Rate: High/Medium

Playstyles: Long Ball Pass, Technical, Jockey, Intercept, Relentless

Preferred Chem Style: Shadow

The links is what’s going to make Wagner a cheap defender. His stats are decent, but if you’re not building an MLS team, then this card’s not useful.
