EA Make A Massive Mistake For FIFA 23!
EA is known to the FIFA franchise faithful for making mistakes, especially within the game mode. However the most recent FIFA release on the Epic Games Store in India was listed for a ridiculously cheap 4.80 rupees. This equates to around 5 pence in the UK or 6 cents in USA or mainland Europe.
This in itself would be considered fantastic value, however this wasn't the cost for the standard copy of the game, it was for the Ultimate Edition!
To put it into perspective, the Recommended Retail Price in the UK is £89.99 meaning that anyone who managed to get their hands on the game got a 99.98% discount!
EA are quoted as saying "We scored a pretty spectacular own-goal when we inadvertently offered FIFA 23 pre-purchase on the Epic Games Store at an incorrect price" However in a surprising move EA have completely owned this and honoured their mistake. "It was our mistake, and we wanted to let you know that we'll be honouring all pre-purchases made at that price."
