Clue: The host nation was eliminated with an unexpected final score leaving the world stunned. Recreate this match!

Brazil hosted the World Cup in 2014 and were well beaten 7-1 during their semi-final with Germany.

To Complete: Score 5 or more goals in 1 game.

Pinturicchio
Clue: This last minute finesse goal ensured victory against the host nation and guaranteed a spot in the final of the world’s biggest tournament. Recreate the final goal of that match!

During the 2006 World Cup Semi Final between Germany and Italy, Del Piero scores a the second goal in as many minutes for Italy to send them through to the final.

The Heat Battle of Lausanne

Clue: A match with 12 goals and extreme conditions of 104 °F degrees with an exciting performance shared by two players, one from each team. What did the two players have in common?

On 26 June 1954, in a quarter final match of the 1954 FIFA World Cup, Austria beat Switzerland 7–5 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The 12 goals scored in the match set a World Cup record, unequalled to date, for the highest scoring match ever. The match is known by its German name, Hitzeschlacht von Lausanne (roughly translated to "The heat battle of Lausanne"), due to the high temperature that it was played under, 40 °C (104 °F).
